Naomi Alm

Bio

Naomi Alm knew what she was getting into when she came to work for Sterling Commercial Real Estate Advisors. “I had worked with Matt, Claire, and the team as an escrow officer. They seemed like a fun, hard-working and organized group,” she says. When she decided to pivot from nearly two decades of work in the title industry, she knew her background in complex closings would be an asset for the SterlingCRE team.

And indeed, her ability to puzzle together the mix of municipal, legal, financial, environmental, and miscellaneous pieces into a neat closing package is an invaluable skill for an Operations Coordinator. Some of the most complex closings she worked on were commercial transactions, which included large Low-Income Tax Credit projects with dozens of moving parts – and millions of dollars to be accounted for.

“There are so many people in the mix with big commercial transactions – and no two deals are ever the same.”

“There are so many people in the mix with big commercial transactions – and no two deals are ever the same,” Naomi says. Now, after almost two decades as a closing agent, she’s ready to tackle these complex projects from the sales side.

Originally hailing from Choteau, Naomi was a Missoula Northsider while she studied at the University of Montana and for several years after. She lives a little further out of town now, but she still enjoys everything Missoula has to offer.

For Naomi, the hard work doesn’t stop when she leaves the office. She and her husband own and operate Nitro Coffee in Missoula. The rest of her time is spent with her busy family, tackling home improvement projects, gardening, camping and boating.
